DT:Premiere | Reset Robot - Arrows of Hope [Whistleblower]

Whistleblower is a project ran by a trio that includes Alan Fitzpatrick, Reset Robot and Rhymos. Based in and around Portsmouth UK, the label is mainly a vessel for their own productions, although it has has also featured some original material from Simon Baker also known as B.K.R. for example.

The seventeenth release titled Thorn is from the label head himself and that also features German favourite Andre Kronert who runs the outstanding ODD / EVEN imprint.

Reset Robot is an artist who regularly defies logic, moving to the stern sound of his own drum, whilst blazing a trail in his wake as he continues to rise to through the ranks to the summit. His music can be heard on renowned labels such as Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and Truesoul, Josh Wink’s Ovum, Anja Schneider’s Mobilee, Sven Väth’s Cocoon and beyond.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Arrows Of Hope” as its melancholic charm shows why he is such a sharp producer. Stripped back and edgy, the synth based electronic core and delayed notes create a magical atmosphere, where the shuffling beat adds a unique funk to this ultimately restrained piece. Fear not, an injection of energy comes from the tense crescendo climb that is built for satisfying the dancefloor pleasure seekers.
