Patrick Siech

Patrick Siech is a DJ, producer and a solid fixture within the Swedish techno scene. As a die hard club promoter too, he’s been providing the regions of Southern Sweden with quality techno for many years. Patrick made his 12” debut on Adam Beyers Drumcode imprint in 2010, and has since then frequented the catalogue on the three Drumcode-sublabels, alongside releases on Parabel, Minus and Break New Soil.

2015 was an eventful year, as Patrick joined the ”Parabel” agency, a Stockholm based family of artists, where he released the first 12inch, ”Viadukt”, on the agency label, followed by releases from Joel Mull, The Persuader and Nima Khak.

Further, collaborations with fellow Malmö-artist Sebastian Mullaert of Minilogue landed them releases on both Richie Hawtin´s Minus label, and Drumcode LTD. An interesting collaboration bound to happen, as Patrick played his first gig ever back in the late 90‘s, as warm-up for the Minilogue live debut.

Patricks DJ-sets are known to be hypnotic, dynamic and moodshifting – an adventure spanning between the primal jungle and vast space. The track selection of deep melancholic techno is equally focused of keeping the selection interesting and musical as it is on the raw groove, and is crafted for maximum reality escape.

This vibe has placed him behind the decks of esteemed venues such as Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, Gashouder and Studio 80 in Amsterdam, plus major world dance music festivals such as Sonar, Awakenings and Amsterdam Dance Event.

As a thoughtful setbuilder, Patrick spans between doing warmup sets for some of the highest acclaimed DJs in the world, as well as delivering peaktime sets at underground basement clubs, and after-hours festival sets at the time of sunrise.
