DT:Premiere | David Att - The Last Empire [Seance]

London based label and radio outfit Seance return for their fifth vinyl and digital exclusive EP, following releases that have included top draw artists lime Edit Select, Subjected, Hironori Takahashi, Flug, TWR72 and a rare appearance from Modern Heads aka Dino Sabatini & Gianluca Meloni.

The Last Empire EP is a superb outing from David Sierra who many will know as David Att of the Attemporal duo. Running the respected ATT Series label, David has also made contributions to Re:Axis’ Monocline Records and HD Substance’s SUB tl for example.

Two remixes are also inside from the always fantastic Arnaud Le Texier who heads up the imprint called Children of Tomorrow, and a back catalogue that has labels like Sven Väth’s Cocoon to Christian Wünsch’s Tsunami Records. Drop-E who is also from Spain brings a new flavour with his rendition following works for Labrynth and PoleGroup sublabel AINE.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is lead track “The Last Empire” which is an understated monster. Its chugging groove is super stern with a delicious sub bass swell that packs some serious attitude. Using an analogue grit on the hypnotic lead makes this a destroyer that will wipe out anything in its way…
