Taktschleife is a new label project from the Springstoff stable that is situated in Berlin.

Launching the new branch brings together the label head Smilla who is known for his deep, spacious, abstract techno jams, with the ever-present dedication of Oliver Deutschmann who lists labels such as Scuba’s Hotflush, Andre Crom’s OFF Recordings or Luke Slater’s Mote Evolver, amongst many others.

Titled A Form Travel Unknown To Humans this three track collection of new original material makes a very exciting listen, using classy analogue sounds full of wonder and depth.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is second offering called “Sticks” that has a warm and funky groove using a sub bass and bass stabs to create sound waves with a smooth, liquid-type influence. Pulsing notes add to the dramatic tension as they grow with intensity and fade back in the mix showing an organic feel with a machine like back bone, that is certain to work the dance floor into a twisted and hypnotic frenzy.
