SK Black continues to make its mark in the scene with a purist sound and down to business ethic, where the music does the talking. Ran by Italian-Berlin based artist Marco Bruno, it already includes music and remix contributions from the likes of Stanislav Tolkachev, Matrixxman, XHEI, and Roman Poncet amongst others.

The lucky thirteenth EP welcomes some edgy original material from promising Berlin talent Lars Huismann alongside remixes by Poland’s Vertical Spectrum and Patrick Walker from Edinburgh, who is also one half of the Forward Strategy Group duo.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the “Shape Of You” remix by Patrick Walker that propels itself with a hypnotic style and powerful bass swells. Full of intricate details and individual character, an old school tribal influence is apparent too making this a somewhat modern throwback, coming complete with a satisfying euphoric element that takes this masterpiece to new heights.
