DT:Premiere | Operator - Mycelium [MindTrip]

Pfirter once again cues up another tectonic release on his monumental MindTrip label that is no stranger to artists such as Jonas Kopp, Lucy, Kr!z, Oscar Mulero, Matrixxman and many more.

The thirty third release welcomes the talents of the UK based Operator to their in demand roster. His notable sound of raw, analogue creations are held in high regard with those who have followed his work. It’s been a long-awaited almost two years since we heard some new material, and it’s been worth the wait to discover his Apocryphal Truths EP and this collection of originals.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the closing track “Mycelium” that is punchy and fierce. The intense chopping layers and rambunctious hats are led by the glorious, bouncing bassline that really sums up a classic take on techno with plenty of contemporary and forward thinking flair.
