Ø [Phase] is one of the most interesting artists around, representing England, he explores new facets of techno with his mesmerising and progressive productions as well as fulfilling the functional needs of a club DJ. A regular on Kr!z’s Token, he has also appeared on Len Faki’s Figure, Slam’s Soma, Ben Sims’ Machine Label, and collaborated with artists such as Rødhåd, Antigone, and the mighty Underworld.

Launching his own label Modwerks in the process of releasing his third album titled Before This, it once again shows his depth as a creative marksman and fearless experimenter.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “Morphic-R that wastes no time taking off. Rolling and pulsing synth jabs lay under flickering hats and a stomping beat that create the energetic mood. Later the hook opens up with audio effects for stronger impact and static textures add a delicate touch to the impeccable sound design.
