DT:Premiere | VIL - Kongo [CÉRÉMONIE]

CÉRÉMONIE is a mysterious podcast project that has decided to release a huge compilation made up of a four 12″ vinyl package including tracks by Answer Code Request, Blue Hour, Roberto Clementi, Temudo, Joton, Jereon Search and many more.

VIL is a core member of the exquisite HAYES Collective based in Portugal and has just released an EP on Ben Klock’s Klockworks, as well as seeing his music on Ben Sims’ Hardgroove, Shlomi Aber’s Be As One and Planet Rhythm amongst many others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Kongo” that kicks straight into a chunky and thick groove. Classy tribal percussion and a spacey atmospheric set the tone, as deep pads sweep through the mix adding a soulful influence to the otherwise, quite raunchy beat.
