Barcelona’s Arketip Discs has its base in Spain and has already made a glowing impression featuring artists such as Truncate, Eduardo De La Calle and Stefan Vincent.

The newest release welcomes a debut of two original tracks by Lōn who are certainly making their mark on the modern techno scene. The exciting duo are otherwise known as Adrià Ponsa and Oscar Molina and have already released music on Lewis Fautzi’s Faut Section and End of Perception who are Berlin-based.

Supplying the remixes on A Dead Body Falling are none other than Spanish starman Reeko and prolific Portuguese producer Temudo.

Reeko has been shaking things up for nearly two decades, with his first release in 2002 for Swedish label Emergence, he has since gone on to frequent many of the best and influential imprints such as Ben Sims’ Symbolism, Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup and Warm Up and Svreca’s Semantica to name only a few. A highly experienced and revered beatmaker, it was instantly evident his contribution would radiate with an explosive rework of the title track.

Now, cue the HAYES co-owner Temudo, a master engineer maestro and all-round inexplicable talent who is up there as one of today’s most tasteful and creative music makers. When you see his name on a release, no question there’s some mesmerising gritty sounds and an abstract, dance floor cut is coming to melt your brain with joy. Another admired addition to this EP, his catalogue credits include Ben Klock’s Klockworks, Slam’s Soma, Developer’s Modularz, Bas Mooy’s Mord and Cleric’s Clergy too.

With DJ support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Surgeon, DVS1, Marcel Dettmann, Ben Sims, Tommy Four Seven and SNTS, this collection resides on the cutting edge of contemporary and esoteric club techno, this sensational EP is action-packed from beginning to end and is nothing short of an instant classic.
