Evod

Since 2015 Alessandro Russo [Evod] and Alessio Politano [Oisel] founded Evod Music: a label that believes in simplicity, purity and efficacy of sounds and ideas. Few elements can give life to an unique process, a flux that can expand itself and come alive. The purpose of Evod Music is to create a movement that shares and unifies the most intimate ideas from all the world, using only a language: music.

Alessandro Russo son of an artist, approached to music at 11 years, listening to USA Techno. During the years he played and released under various aliases, but during 2014 he defined his artistic personality with an unique alias: Evod, the same name of his label. He released also on TWR72’s Float Records and Marcelus’ Singular Records. His mainly vinyl sets are characterised by strong and deep sonorities, influenced by ambient sounds. During December 2016 he made his debut at Tresor (Berlin) and in February 2018 he played with Jeff Mills.

Oisel is a young artist from Italy. He introduces abstracted, plangent and marked sonorities, researching the purity of each sound; he blends modern and old-school elements, respecting the past and proceeding to the future, into a dynamic evolution of his musical identity. He is co-founder of Evod Music; besides the releases on his label, he released also on Pole Group, Float Records and Singular Records. During April 2017 he made his debut at Tresor (Berlin), also he played Moog Club (BCN) Utopia Club.
