Echoføn brings together Detroit artists Chad Parraghi and Corbin Davis, who are the co-founders of the exceptional Blank Code platform. Drawing from the core principles of Detroit techno, the project explores a hybrid sound built on driving rhythms, broken structures, and layered polyrhythms, with subtle influences from drum & bass woven throughout. Beyond the studio, their work with Blank Code has been instrumental in nurturing Detroit’s underground, including event curations, supporting new talent, and reinforcing the city’s creative network. As Echoføn, they distil this shared vision into a collaborative outlet that captures both the raw intensity and forward momentum of their sound, which will see releases set for Decoder’s Codec and DJ Hyperactive’s 4trk in the coming months, as well as on the new Blank Code sister label, Modern Relics.
