Detroit label Dystopian Rhythm sent us their latest offering from previous DT mix guest and Assassin Soldier Recordings bossman from Mexico, Israel Toledo. We selected “Radon” for this DT:Premiere taken from the forthcoming EP titled “Elements.”

A quirky and hypnotic tone gets underway from the word go, with a muted rolling lead and sturdy beat. Soft metallic sounds and scraping textures fill up the mix with some well executed hats and claps, merging the idea of melody with a dancefloor destroyer. An unusual combination that is no doubt a winner for us.
