DT:Premiere | Evod - Modulante [Affekt]

Affekt Recordings is moving into a new wave of 10″ vinyl releases that include two original tracks. The label is known for showcasing artists such as Pär Grindvik, Alex Bau, VSK, Pacou and Mental Resonance for example.

The fourth edition of the limited series welcomes Italian Evod with his Onda Portante EP and who many will recognise from appearances on great labels such as Marcelus’ Singular, TWR72’s Float Records and MTD’s Methodical amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Modulante” that focuses on a gritty, analogue, atmospheric style. The beat is funky, raw and in a world of its own from to start to finish, creating a vibe for the serious heads who like a touch of experimentation locked into the groove.
