Shlomi Aber has put together a new four track EP called Tilim at Night that begins the new year in style following outings on Pan-Pot’s Second State, Ellen Allien’s BPitch, Joseph Capriati’s REDIMENSION and Len Faki’s Figure amongst others.
Releasing it on his own Be As One imprint, it continues to steadily secure its spot as a label to watch by championing underground sounds across the board including a recent collaboration from Jeroen Search & Gotshell as well as music from Linkan Ray, Alexander Kowalski and Marco Faraone.
For this DT:Premiere we selected “Consonance” that wastes no time bursting out the blocks with detuned, stabbing chords and subtle hat hits that really add the funk. Driving forward with a heavy punch, this jackin’ gem adds complementing higher synth notes and atmospheric textures to execute an epitome in stripping down to groove essentials and ultimately a superb DJ weapon.
