Znzl is a Moroccan born artist, based in Berlin. His musical approach through productions, DJ sets and live sets is to transform catharsis into a tangible visceral experience, moving the soul through the body and mind with intention.

This signature sound, both in selection and productions, can be identified with high energy build-ups, dark, cathartic, trippy elements consolidated with mental, hypnotic textures. Introspective, yet uncompromising with the initial goal: a dance floor oriented direction.

Although in constant evolution, Znzl keeps these identifiable high energy, sharp percussion patterns - still giving space to each element to breathe. Sound foundations for the body, dense grooving floor, sparkled with vaporous sound design and understated euphoria.

Znzl’s artistic identity is rooted in a solid, and multifaceted expertise in sound, mixing and mastering engineering. As one of the co-founders of Demian Records ((with Öspiel and CVNSUMED (NN)), they went through innovative explorations within electronic music.

Before their recent artistic turn, they shared their art on respected labels such as Persephonic Sirens, Genesa, Promena, Void+1.

Their signature sound has moved dance floors at Unfold, Tresor, RSO, Macadam, Rorschach, Babcock Factory, Ostra Club, Renate, Lehmann Club, and La Belle Électrique.
