DT:Premiere | B.K.R. - Artic [Whistleblower]

The rising UK imprint known as Whistleblower is ran by three good friends Alan Fitzpatrick, Reset Robot and Rhymos who have been pushing their own sounds through the project until now.

The twelfth release is the first true EP to feature original music outside of the label bosses and their collaboration aliases.

B.K.R. is the secretive Techno alias of a highly established British artist who along with a busy schedule of international gigs has an impressive back catalogue including the likes of Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Moon Harbour, Kompakt, 20/20 Vision and Sasha’s Last Night On Earth.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Artic” for its combination of Detroit inspired hooks and super-catchy bouncing bassline. There’s a sinister attitude running through the mix that gives it a tough edge and a definite classic feel that will certainly be spinning on dancefloors the world over.
