DT:Premiere | Modig - What You Want [UNCAGE]

UNCAGE is the new label project from Norman Methner alongside Italian Marco Faraone who is known for releases on Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Josh Wink’s Ovum and Shlomi Aber’s Be As One amongst many others. Off to a strong start UNCAGE has already featured music from Marco himself, Eduardo De La Calle and remixes from Radio Slave and Markus Suckut.

The third release is a tidy various offering simply called V1 and goes into some classy, dubby, hypnotic takes from Parisian duo and Concrete residents Kas:st, Modig, Hertz Collision and Black Stone.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere comes from Modig and marks the first ever outing from the Berlin based DJ/Producer. “What You Want” is a stripped back masterpiece with a rolling groove that’s in essence fun, but is no doubt a serious dancefloor heavyweight.
