DEAD CERT. Records is a label linked to the well known website deathtechno.com ran by Jack! Who? in the UK. A diverse palette has seen the previous releases feature music from artists including Audio Injection / Truncate, Hans Bouffmyhre, Joachim Spieth, Miss Sunshine, DJ Spider and Eomac to name but a few.
This is the eighth release in the labels mixed artist series entitled “Black Mail” that showcases individual tracks from a selection of handpicked artists. Featuring more known and established artists, but also those breaking into the industry.
This EP contains some quality cuts from Jasmine Azarian in Berlin, Conformance from France, Kornacki in London and Redial Tone from Montenegro.
The labels previous release picked up support from DJ Deep, Samuli Kemppi, Florian Meindl, Anthony Parasole, Gary Beck, Developer, Dax J, Jonas Kopp and many more…
01. Jasmine Azarian - Verses
Jasmine Azarian recently moved to Berlin from the UK and “Verses” is her debut release on any label. A chance find by the A&R team, she shows her prowess and clear production skills delivering a bass heavy, dancefloor ride, full of character from swirling pads and tension that is absolutely infectious.
02. Conformance - Plexus
French producer Conformance is a live jamming machine, where flow and progression are instrumental to his style as he rattles out well crafted rhythms. With a stunning EP just released on Back Spin Records, he is capable of anything and is without doubt a guy to watch closely in the future.
03. Kornacki - #2.1
London based Kornacki’s great care and attention to detail are the traits that run through all of his tracks. “#2.1” is an absolute monster. Deep kicks and a hypnotic groove are complimented by a warm analogue feel and a soothing euphoric atmosphere, that take this moody phenomenon to a whole new level with expert precision.
04. Redial Tone - Dangerous Zone
After his “Hope & Despair” EP just released on DEAD CERT. picking up love from DJ Deep, Samuli Kemppi, Anthony Parasole and Jonas Kopp amongst many others, Aleksandar Grum aka Redial Tone had been saving this beast of a track to stand alone. Firepower is the order the day, where this storming effort is simply made for those who like a raw, driving and punchy dancefloor sound with an affluence of character, enlightened by some jacked up, gothic chords.
