This the sixth release since launching in late 2015 has proven patience is the key, which to no surprise has seen top artist talent such as Reeko, Mark Broom, TWR72, Jonas Kopp, Roman Lindau and Manzel contribute with quality reworks to the catalogue.
The first original and title track “Beyond Thunder” is powerful and laced with energy by a gritty and raving synth ready for rinsing dancefloors, with some impressive twitching snares on the builds. The second called “Witness” is a wavy, deep and captivating number, that uses euphoric string combinations over a jacking beat to create warm and soulful textures that becomes a real stand out piece.
Joining in on the action are two new appearances to the label, firstly, the Fossil Archive bossman Roberto from the UK providing a yin-yang experience. An altogether tough take, pitted alongside a more chilled interpretation, both are of the lead track. Each version is tailor made for the discerning DJ that can reap the rewards of effectively utilising these prodigious weapons to their strengths at the right time.
Bleak known for his previous releases on DJ Deep’s Deeply Rooted imprint, Delsin, Animal Farm and remixing Slam for example, turns in a stripped back and hypnotic issue. A real head turner with a classy acid ride and functional feeling, it adds another wonderful element to this super strong package.
Diverse and instantly club ready, this 5 track EP is one not to be missed, full of hidden auras and equipped for the right election of execution.
