Vakat is an emerging alias of Aleksandar Grum who is also known under the moniker Redial Tone and is one of the leading techno voices from Montenegro. Having featured tracks on our very own DEAD CERT. Records that included remixes from UK legend Paul Mac and one of South Korea’s finest Soolee, he has also appeared on Marcelus’ Singular, Re:Axis’ Monocline, Coeter’s Kaputt, Subsist and played alongside influential artists such as Jeff Mills, Chris Liebing, Stanislav Tolkachev, Lewis Fautzi and Insolate. This exclusive mix is full of twisted and abstract shards of techno with freaky riffs and challenging rhythm concepts that are a real exploration of not only sound design, but of the breadth and capabilities artists can create.
