DT:Premiere | CYRK - Carbonisation (Drumcell Remix) [Burial Soil]

Burial Soil is a club event based in Berlin that is set to launch their first vinyl release to commemorate the anniversary. Including original tracks by the duo CYRK there’s also two remixes by Drumcell and label head Ravn Jonassen.

Drumcell is the Los Angeles-based sound explorer whose contributions to labels such as Chris Liebing’s CLR, Rødhåd’s Dystopian, Blank Code and his own DROID Recordings, have made him a key figure in the modern techno scene.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his remix of title track “Carbonisation” that has a dark and menacing atmosphere and marching kick pattern. Huge droning synths add an almost apocalyptic feeling to the equation as this tough and tension-filled production is definitely something a little different.
