DT:Premiere | Alex Asci - Up North (B. Riley Remix) [CMND CTRL]

CMND CTRL is a Florida-based label project that has previously featured influential artists like the Non Series boss Psyk, Ray Kajioka of Heiko Laux’s Kanzleramt and Alexi Delano amongst others.

The newest release is their sixth outing and it features Germany’s Alex Asci from Munich who has released on Twist3d’s Bunk3r and Sisko Elektrofanatik’s Gain Records. His original track is an uncompromising, thunderous juggernaut, that’s tough and certainly leans on industrial tones.

The label head B. Riley who is known for appearing on Tim Xavier’s Face To Face, steps up on remix duty to deliver a solid new take.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his remix of “Up North” that opts for a hypnotic interpretation. Calling on Chicago and Detroit vibes with a contemporary soul, its rising pads, pertinent emotion and intense crescendo create a stimulating listening experience.
