DT:Premiere | Jeroen Search - Observer [Cogo]

Cogo is a Slovenian label who have a quality over quantity mantra having already featured music by Stanislav Tolkachev, Inigo Kennedy, Samuli Kemppi as well as remixes from Volster and Magna Pia.

The newest release VA.02 follows a 3 year hiatus, but they come in style by gathering a strong collective consisting of Dutch artist Jeroen Search, Belgium’s Border One, Spain’s ORBE, and label co-owner Tonske.

Netherlands star man, Jeroen Search, is up there with the best in my book. Releases on Kr!z’s Token, Ben Sims’ Symbolism and Len Faki’s Figure show his pedigree and he supplies another functional and dreamy, spaced-out work.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Observer” that is a trippy and wonderful jam. Showing his hand with a sci-fi shakedown of modular bleeps and subtle tension locked into its sharp yet wonky groove.
