Jake Conlon

Jake Conlon is an energetic young Techno Producer & DJ from Birmingham, England. Jake takes influence from his city’s rich musical heritage whilst looking forwards and draws inspiration from a wide range of music, as can be heard in his productions.

With a back catalogue of releases on Decoy, Pareto Park and the TrusT compilations with a gathering of wide support, Jake was naturally lead towards the creation of a live set, enabling him to strip his music to pieces and arrange it back together for crowds up and down the UK, including the legendary House Of God and Corsica Studios in London.

Jake’s music has been played on Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1, RTE 2FM where has has also featured as a guest DJ. Jake also has music stored in the British Library music archive. His sets, like his music, are raw yet meticulously crafted retaining hardness but still filled with soul, which has been a main stay of his sound shining through his many DJ sets played in Birmingham and beyond.

Since his first debut DJing in 2008 at the Rainbow Birmingham, Jake has held down a residency at the Birmingham club night Resonance, where he has played alongside some of his favourite artists and DJs.

Jake also runs a montly radio show with Rob Cee, showcasing various sounds of techno on Sounds Of The 2nd City.
