Another label is born, Interstate resides between London and Berlin. Headed up by the duo named Dial Tone it’s set to be a haven for all things techno, be it experimental, ambient or otherwise.

The first vinyl and digital package includes works from the label boss himself alongside great company such as Glós, Hedrome, Inhalt Der Nacht and Argentina’s Mental Resonance.

A respected back catalogue of releases that includes labels such as Pfirter’s MindTrip, Sonntag Morgen and Belief Systems amongst others, Mental Resonance is always on point with his pertinent productions.

“Equality” is no exception as we selected it for this DT:Premiere where he uses tom combinations to begin and set the tone under a barrage of acid / electro shocks. The vivacious rolling beat and scintillating hi-hat work are magically misleading, as it awaits the introduction of deep chords changing the function and vibe completely to that of melodic material. Patient and engaging, this could be a warm up or warm down weapon for DJ use, but a stand alone, outstanding piece of music none the less.
