DEAD CERT. Records is a label linked to the well known website deathtechno.com ran by Jack! Who? in the UK. A diverse palette has seen the previous releases feature music from artists including Audio Injection / Truncate, Hans Bouffmyhre, Joachim Spieth, Paul Mac and TWR72 to name but a few.
Spanish artist Pablo Higuero aka H. Paul is the head of Induxtriall Records and reappears on DEAD CERT. with two original works, following a recent remix alongside artists such as Echoplex and Redial Tone. His production back catalogue includes quality releases on Ricardo Garduno’s Illegal Alien and Alex Bau’s 43 Recordings amongst many others.
There are also two remixes included from Mental Resonance in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Birmingham, UK based Jake Conlon.
The first original track “Origen” leads straight into the hypnosis that runs through the spine of the EP. A tough beat forces the energy as the tension builds adding to there raw vibe. Made for dark rooms and head down love, this is a DJ tool ready for club testing.
“Clement” is the second original track that has a straight up jacking feel. The killer buzz on the skippy analogue lead rides the wave of an edgy production with a functional dancefloor gem.
Guido Camino aka Mental Resonance is respected for his quality sound the world over. Hailing from Buenos Aires, he already has a revered selection of labels to his name such as Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, Pfirter’s MindTrip and Arnaud Le Texier’s Children of Tomorrow for example.
Mental Resonance supplies the first remix, and as the title suggests, the tubular spaced out sound resembles a sonic wormhole chipping away at your consciousness. Adding textures and melodies to the original, its perfectly executed cosmic attitude mean this will be a top selection for sure.
Jake Conlon is an underground sensation, his punchy and unique sound has seen him appear on Rebekah’s Decoy, George Lanham’s Pareto Park and Martyn Hare’s Emetic. His music has already caught the attention of many Techno peers and pioneers alike as he picks up new fans at every turn.
The fourth and final cut is Jake Conlon’s take on Clement. Instantly succeeding in its own flamboyant style with jagged tones, its rough and raw nature is bursting with passion and drive.
