DT:Premiere | Specific Objects - Contorted [MEAT Recordings]

The Austrian event and label collective known as MEAT Recordings are a truly independent vessel that distribute their wares directly via Bandcamp or select physical format stores.

As we previously had a premiere from the first vinyl only compilation, we were excited to check out the sophomore edition that features Specific Objects, Gerald VDH, Matt Mor & Chris Klein, plus BØRT, who are all from Vienna.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the lead track from Specific Objects titled “Contorted” that uses a relentless, electro hook combination, that jabs it’s way into your brain with its hypnotic wall of sound. Multi-layered and massively fresh, there are plenty of subtleties, honed production skills, and it just oozes raw style.
