DT:Premiere | Zadig - Atlantic12 [Mitsubasa]

In just a few of years of operation Mitsubasa has been releasing vinyl and digital EPs featuring artists like Rove Ranger and Specific Objects, already proving it’s a label with an educated ear. Standing for “three-wings” meaning soul, heart and mind the newest release MTB005 is yet another exciting entry to their catalogue featuring more great talent like Benales, Zadig, Tsuyoshi Ogawa and Gerald VDH.

Zadig is a Paris-based artist who is known for his influential vinyl only sets and having made appearances on Tresor, Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, DJ Deep’s Deeply Rooted, Arnaud Le Texier’s Children of Tomorrow and his own imprint Construct Re-Form.

For this DT:Premiere we selected his track “Atlantic12” with a raw and punchy groove. The rolling, detuned modular tones expand and contract to create a constant building tension while highlights arrive by clutters of claps and bubbling textures to create a heady jam.
