DT:Premiere | Rraph - Dioptric [Blank Code]

Polish producer Rraph has close ties to the well known Gynoid Audio, Translucent and Counter Pulse, being the A&R staff scout for many years gaining invaluable experience in the industry. Not only is he a key figure for the aforementioned Elektrax Music offshoots, he also has releases on other notable labels like Nachtstrom Schallplatten and [R]3volution.

His new Pulse Modulation EP on Blank Code sees him debut on the outstanding Detroit imprint. With a total 4 original tracks plus 3 remixes, included for some rework action are label partner Anthony Jimenez, Chicago legend DJ Hyperactive and the label co-founders collaborating as Project 313.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track “Dioptric” that has a powerful kick rhythm and growling sub bass with a breathing presence to set the scene. Elastic clacks morph throughout and soon become met with dull yet freaky stabs to push it to new heights of sound design excellence as well as being a gritty and raw club cut.
