Kicking off 2023 with a new DT:Download track, mastered and ready for DJ use. Venezuelan Felipe Párraga aka Saurio is an emerging artist in Bogotá, Colombia and who has featured music on labels like Bruno Ledesma’s Concepto Hipnotico, Korpus 9, Corpus Black, Diffuse Reality and Warok Music.
Ahead of a forthcoming EP for our very own DEAD CERT. Records we wanted to introduce Saurio with a free download titled “Anthroposophy” that has a warping sub bass and hypnotic atmosphere at its core. The spacey vibe of this dance floor ready cut will mesmerise and surprise along with the vocal sample about the spiritual science itself.

Q&A with Saurio
> What was the thinking behind this track and did you achieve what you set out?
I really like to listen to Rudolf Steiner recordings and sometimes I go to sleep listening to him. Therefore one day making music, I thought maybe I can sample a short speech or a sentence and later I was just trying to mix it with a groove that I had made before. The main idea was to get rid of many synths and use just drums, various percussion and of course the voice sample.
> What tips and advice can you share to any producers on shaping their own sound?
Keep working on it and learn new things as a constant path to development.
> What is your go to track at the moment by another artist?
Well this is not a track, it’s an immersive set by Konduku that has really cool sounds and rhythms…
